Which requires more faith? Belief in Intelligent Design or Evolution?
With bad assumptions, you get bad results.
- No answer exists for how life began. The "primordial ooze" is talked about and most importantly presumed to be true, but there is NO evidence that this makes sense or works. Dr. James Tour offers $10 million to anyone who can prove 1 of the 4 parts that are necessary to create anything that appears to be protein. Parts need to happen quickly, not over millions of years. Others need to happen within hours, or the material falls apart.
- Does everything come from nothing? No. Nothing is still nothing and can't be more. The new theory is throw in gravity and then ... This breaks the laws of Newtonian Physics.
- How does something less complex produce new information to make something more complex? It doesn't. This has not been observed anywhere, at any time during modern times. It's a bad theory.
- Hundreds of thousands of life forms, and not a single solid example of a form transitioning. Guesswork, theories, supposition, but no clear evidence.
What great faith it takes to believe in billions and trillions of coincidences with no evidence, only theories.
Science and God go together. God created science. For centuries, Christians have sought to learn more about God by examining His creations. Revisionists changed the view and made it seem that religion and science oppose each other. That is not the case.
Here are a couple of links showing long lists of scientists who were Christians and scientists.
Examples of Christians that were scientist and made a difference:
- Issiac Newton: Discovered gravity, invented calculus, and built the first reflecting telescope.
- Werner Heisenberg is known for his work in quantum mechanics.
- Wernher von Braun was known for his work with rockets and the space race.
- Georges Lemaître was the first to propose the Big Bang theory because it pointed to the universe having an origin. He worked with Edwin Hubble (religion unknown) to prove to Albert Einstein that the universe was not infinite.
- Michael Faraday discovered the first experimental link between light and magnetism
- Gregor Mendel founded the science of genetics.
- Charles Babbage was the father of the computer, invented the Analytical Engine, a Turing Complete computer in 1837, the first general-purpose computer.
Scientists Said 98% of Your DNA Was Useless (They Were Wrong)
You can learn a great deal about a scientific theory by examining the predictions it makes. In 1972, the prediction was made that 90% of our DNA is "junk". Moving forward to 1980, many papers from evolutionists presumed and wrote about "Selfish DNA" and how we are like parasites. In the 2000s, with the genome project, they discovered that only 1 to 2% build proteins. What about the other 98%?
In 2012, Nature assembled hundreds of papers showing that 80% of our DNA shows functional biochemical activity. Once we know and learn more, the 80% will likely go to 100%.
Originally, researchers made it seem like we're put together with tape and baling wire, which is not true. We are created in God's image, and our creator knows what He's doing. In 2021, papers were written saying the days of "Junk DNA" are over.
This is a great video showing that our God is amazing. For something to be so complicated, it shows it is designed. If it is designed, there is a designer...

Is the Soul Real? A Neurosurgeon Makes the Case
Many scientists and doctors believe that there is no such thing as the soul. Dr. Michael Egnor is a neurosurgeon presents the case that the brain alone does not explain the mind. Using modern neuroscience and his vast surgical experience, he believes there is a spiritual soul that transcends the brain, using fascinating case studies to prove his claim.
Sean McDowell talks with Dr. Egnor about his experience as a neurosurgeon performing hundreds of brain surgories.
